Pumpkin Houjicha Latte

This pumpkin houjicha latte is such a perfect cozy drink for fall weather, especially in rainy days.

Pumpkin Houjicha Latte
This makes a 8oz drink.
Ingredients
2-4g of houjicha powder from Tezumi Tea
2oz of warm water for dissolving houjicha powder
6oz of hot milk of your choice (I used unsweetened almond milk here)
1-2 tablespoons of pumpkin puree
1 teaspoon sweetener of your choice (I used maple syrup here)

Steps
Sift the houjicha powder into a bowl. Add warm water. You can use a bamboo whisk, or froth to mix it until the powder is dissolved. More detail you can check out the recipe on Tezumi page.
Heat up the milk of your choice in a small pot until streaming. Frothing the milk is optional if you prefer microfoam and airy texture.
In a cup, add in pumpkin puree, sweetener of your choice (optional), pour in warm milk, and then pour the houjicha base on top. Done and enjoy!
