Matcha white chocolate ganache is my all-time favorite! The matcha flavor balances out the sweetness of the white chocolate. It is perfect combo!

Matcha white chocolate ganache

Ingredients

Yield about 12-16 macarons.
  • 170g high quality white chocolate

  • 60g heavy cream

  • 3/4 tsp matcha powder from Tezumi Tea

Steps

  1. Place the white chocolate in a glass or stainless steel bowl.

  2. In a small saucepan, add in heavy cream and matcha powder. Whisk it slowly to dissolve the matcha powder.

  3. Heat the heavy cream and matcha powder until it comes to a boil.

  4. Remove from the heat and pour over the white chocolate.

  5. Let it sit for 1-2 minutes.

  6. Stir the white chocolate and heavy cream together until the chocolate has melted entirely.

  7. Put a plastic wrap on top of the ganache to prevent skin to be developed.

  8. Chill in the fridge for at least 6 hours or overnight

  9. When ready to use, take it out from the fridge and leave on the countertop for 15-20 minutes to soften and get to the consistency to be pipeable. Enjoy! .
